For parents
Is Gloopies safe for my child? Gloopies has no ads, no chat, no in-app purchases and no sign-up. It doesn’t ask for any personal information. Players can visit a friend’s island only if they know its 6-letter code, and can only send preset stickers like ❤️ or ⭐. Read the full privacy policy.
Does it cost anything? No. Gloopies is free, with no purchases inside the game.
Will my child feel pressured to keep playing? The game is designed to be calm. Gloopies keep earning Goo while the game is closed, they never get ill or die, and after a long session the game suggests taking a break.
How do I delete my child’s data? Uninstalling removes everything on the device. To delete the copy on our server, email us the island’s friend code (in the game under Visit).
Can I turn off sounds or reminders? Yes. Tap ⚙️ in the top corner (a grown-up answers a quick question). Reminders are off unless you turn them on, and they never arrive between 8pm and 9am.
For players
How do I make new Gloopies? Drag a Gloopy onto its twin, one with the same colour and the same number of stars, and they’ll merge into a bigger one. Merge two different colours with the same stars to make a hybrid!
How do I find the secret Gloopies? Merge two different hybrids with the same number of stars. There are 10 secrets to find.
Why is my Gloopy sad? It’s hungry or bored. Tap it, then press Feed or Play.
Where is my friend code? Tap Visit. Your code is at the top. Share it with friends so they can visit your island.
How do I move my island to a new phone or tablet? On the old device, tap ⚙️ (a grown-up answers a quick question), then Get magic words. Write down the 4 words and your friend code. On the new device, open ⚙️ → I have words and type them in. Your island, Gloopies and friend code move across. (This works from version 1.1.)
